Yoga & Mindfulness Instructor Hiba Stancofski leads a Yoga for strength and relaxation while guiding you towards easing the mind, nourishing your body, and connecting to your higher self.
About this class: Strength and Relaxation Yoga is for everyone. It is the basis for building physical and breath practices. It strengthens and calms. The class begins with centering. It proceeds to physical postures which are held to allow the body to settle and the muscles to strengthen while making the breath calm and even. It ends with deep relaxation.
Journal: We always suggest you take a few moments to journal after your practice. Write down what thoughts, feelings, signs or symbols show up during or after your practice. We often get our best messages, signs, or symbols when we move our bodies and connect with our higher selves.
About the Instructor: Hiba had been practicing yoga for over 15 years. In 2014, after her personal realization of the mental and physical benefits of yoga, she received her 200 YTT certification in a vinyasa style. With a desire to serve unique populations within the community. She received certification from the Kripalu Center in Yoga for Cancer, Mindfulness training in 2016 through Mindful Schools, and yoga for depression and anxiety through LifeForce Yoga. She is currently enrolled in the 300 YTT at Involution Yoga. With over 5 years of experience, Hiba enjoys teaching regularly for the Cancer Support Community, Involution Yoga, as well as her seasonal classes with a variety of Cape High School athletic teams.
